Dr. Kousar Jahan

Assistant Professor

Dr. Kousar Jahan, she is a dedicated researcher in medicinal chemistry. She holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy from RGPV, Bhopal (2015), followed by an MS (Pharm.) in Medicinal Chemistry from NIPERRaebareli (2018), and then Ph.D. from NIPER-Mohali.

Her research expertise spans computational drug design, heterocyclic chemistry, metal-catalyzed reactions, and synthesis of biologically active scaffolds. She is proficient in modern chromatographic and spectroscopic techniques, molecular modeling, and chemical database tools. Over the course of her academic and professional journey, Kousar has contributed to several high-impact publications in reputed journals and presented her work at national and international conferences, earning recognition such as the Best Oral Presentation award at NIPER-Mohali (2022).

A recipient of prestigious fellowships including JRF and SRF, as well as qualifying GPAT, she has demonstrated both academic excellence and innovative research skills. Her long-term goal is to contribute to the advancement of medicinal chemistry through novel drug discovery approaches.
