Dr. Yashomita Mehta

Associate Professor

Dr. Yashomita Mehta is currently serving as an Associate Professor at the Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where she has been associated since August 2026. She holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics from Amity University Haryana, an M. Pharm. in Pharmaceutics from Lord Shiva College of Pharmacy, Pt. Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University, Rohtak, and a B. Pharm. from J.C.D.M. College of Pharmacy, Kurukshetra University. With over 15 years of academic and research experience, Dr. Mehta has contributed significantly to the field of pharmaceutical sciences, particularly in the areas of nanotechnology, biosensing, drug delivery, and pharmaceutical product development. Her scholarly contributions include 13 research and review publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals, a book chapter published by Elsevier, ACS and Taylor & Francis, and one patent application. Her core research interests include nano-biosensors, electrochemical biosensors, lateral flow assays (LFAs), novel drug delivery systems, and pharmaceutical product development and evaluation. Her research focuses particularly on the development, fabrication, optimization, and application of nano-biosensors for the detection of illicit drugs and disease biomarkers. Her research vision is focused on developing rapid, sensitive, reliable, and intelligent diagnostic platforms that can facilitate the translation of advanced nano-biosensor technologies from laboratory research toward practical healthcare applications.
