Dr. Shilpi Chauhan

Associate Professor

Dr. Shilpi Chauhan is a confident, self-motivated, passionate teacher with more than 5 years of academic, research, and administrative work experience. 

She has been awarded a Ph.D. in pharmacy with efficient research work on a “design and synthesis of SIRT 1 and pancreatic lipase modulator”. Dr. Shilpi completed her M.Pharm. (Pharmaceutical Chemistry) from Guru Jambheshwar University of Science and Technology, Hisar in 2013 and B.Pharm. from G.V.M. School of Pharmacy, Sonepat in 2011. Her primary research interest lies broadly in QSAR, molecular docking, computational studies, synthesis, etc. 

Her scholarly dedication is evident in her extensive publication record, encompassing more than 13 publications, one patent, and one book chapter in reputed national and international journals with 362 citations, h-index- 8 and i10-index-7. She has supervised more than 10 PG students.

Dr. Shilpi is serving as a reviewer and editorial board member of several reputed journals. She has also participated in and presented her research work at more than 20 conferences/seminars/workshops. She is a lifetime member of various professional bodies like the Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Uttar Pradesh Association for Science, etc.
