Dr. Khursheed Alam has completed his B.Pharm. and M.Pharm. (Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry) from Jamia Hamdard, Ph.D (Pharmaceutical Sciences) from AKTU. He has a vast teaching experience of more than 21 Years. He was the former Associate Professor and Head, Department of Pharmacognosy, Rajiv Academy for Pharmacy, Mathura. He has participated in and presented his research work at various National and International conferences. He is currently serving as a Reviewer of various journals. He has various National and International papers published in high impact factors journals to his credit.

His interest lies in Plant Tissue Culture Technique, Initiation of Callus, its development and maintenance, Regeneration of plantlets and Organogenesis, Extraction, and Isolation of phytoconstituents, separation of phytoconstituents through various Chromatographic techniques, and Standardization of Herbal drugs.

Achievements: Selected as a Head Examiner by Dr. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) for End Semester Theory Examination of Pharmacognosy and Phytochemistry. Appointed as a Sports Incharge, Hostel Incharge, and in charge of the Herbal Garden of Lloyd Institute. Also taking care of Minority Assistance Cell for financially weaker students. He is a lifelong member of the Indian Society of Pharmacognosy, InPharm Association, IPGA, ISTE, IHPA and APTI, Society of Pharmacovigilance-India, and Indian Red Cross society.
