Dr. Kalpana Singh

Associate Professor

A committed faculty member with 18+ years of experience teaching courses in the undergraduate level. She did her doctorate from Deen Dayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University and supervised Ph.D. Student. She is also co-author of a book on Engineering Chemistry. Published more than dozen research papers in SCI / Scopus Indexed Journals with good impact factors. Presented research papers & invited lectures at national & international conferences. She has published two patents and one copyright in 2021-22. She has received best Poster award at the National Conference on Futuristic materials sponsored by Department of Atomic energy & DST held at Sharda University, Greater Noida during September 09/2011. She has also received “Certificate of Excellence for outstanding Teaching Performance in academic session 2016-17 & 2017-18 in GNIOT group of Institutions”. She is currently serving as a Reviewer Materials Today Proceedings (Elsevier). Her main research interests include, Synthesis & Characterization of agro -waste based Hydrogel & Composites using the tenets of green chemistry & application in Waste water treatment. She believes in learning new skills and ability to work hard in adverse circumstances to meet the targets without losing patience.
