Dr. Chitra Gupta

Professor, Dean PG & Head Research

Dr. Chitra has an amalgamated experience of Industry, Administration and Academics of around 23 years.

Doctorate in Pharmaceutical sciences, GATE qualified and silver medalist in M. Pharm. Pharmaceutics from Delhi College of Pharmacy (COP) now DIPSAR.

Has several National and International Publications to her credit, 5 published patents, has presented at several conferences and has guided 40 masters students in their research work. 

Has been a resource person at AICTE sponsored short term training program for faculties, deliberated on the topic “Break the wheel-Reinvent the classrooms” at National Conference  “ Pharmaspeak-2019” and has contributed a series of eight lectures on Novel Drug Delivery Systems for Swayamprabha channel of Doordarshan.

Instrumental in procuring several grants from AICTE – MODROBS, International conference, Grant for Online Faculty Development program and ATAL FDP in last few years.

Has coordinated, organized and successfully conducted International and National Conferences, FDPS on Pedagogical Approaches in Teaching and Outcome based learning and several webinars.

Has been actively involved in student welfare and upskilling activities like organizing short term training programs, webinars, workshops, hands on trainings, guest lecture , entrepreneurship awareness camps, IPR literacy and self-development programs etc

Awarded “Bharat Shiksha Gaurav Puraskar” for contributions and accomplishment in education by KTK Outstanding Achievers and Education Foundation ,India  (14^TH May 2023).

Has been conferred with “Innovative leader award ” by Lloyd in 2022 and Received recognition for outstanding service, impactful contribution in growth of the organization and for passion and commitment to achieving excellence,18th October  2022 .Awarded thrice for excellence in teaching.

A passionate teacher and a firm believer in outcome based education. To her “excellence has nothing to do with power, money or success; it has to do with what one can do with time, situation, zeal and energy”.Believes in igniting the Interest of students in Learning and a life long learner herself. Dedicated towards enriching the learning experience and holistic development of students.
