The Department of Pharmacy, Lloyd Institute of Management & Technology (LIMT), organized an Industrial Visit to Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd., Sonipat on 26th August, 2026. The visit was coordinated by the Career Counselling, Corporate Relations, Training and Placement Cell with the objective of providing students with practical exposure to industrial manufacturing processes, quality assurance practices, and modern production technologies employed in the nutraceutical and probiotic beverage industry.

Objectives of the Visit

• To bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and industrial practices.

About Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd.

Yakult Danone India Pvt. Ltd. is a joint venture between Yakult Honsha Co., Ltd., Japan and Groupe Danone, France. The company is renowned for manufacturing probiotic health drinks containing Lactobacillus casei strain Shirota, which are designed to support digestive health and overall well-being. The Sonipat manufacturing facility is equipped with advanced production, quality control, and packaging systems adhering to international quality standards.

Visit Proceedings

The industrial visit commenced with the arrival of students and faculty members at the Yakult manufacturing facility. The participants were welcomed by company representatives, who provided an overview of the organization, its history, products, and quality commitment.
