The Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharmacy) celebrated World Pharmacists Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from faculty, staff, and students. This year's global theme, "Think Health, Think Pharmacists," was prominently emphasized throughout the event.

The celebration began with a free Health Check-up Camp, organized in collaboration with Felix Hospital, which offered assessments of blood pressure, blood sugar, and BMI. Faculty, staff, and students actively participated and received personal consultations from doctors on maintaining a healthy lifestyle through a balanced diet and regular exercise.

A special awareness session by physiotherapist Dr. Preeti Handa on "Physiotherapy in Daily Life" highlighted the importance of correct posture, regular stretching, and muscle health to prevent lifestyle disorders. The interactive session was well received by all participants.

In parallel, a Blood Donation Camp was held in association with Pulse Foundation, where students and staff members enthusiastically donated blood, promoting social responsibility and compassion.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director and Head of Growth, Lloyd Group, emphasized that pharmacists are an integral part of the healthcare system. She noted that such initiatives foster social responsibility, compassion, and awareness among students, shaping them into responsible healthcare professionals.

The event concluded on a positive note, reaffirming Lloyd Institute's commitment to community welfare and health awareness.
