The Pathway Program organized by Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology was a comprehensive series of online sessions aimed at providing in-depth insights into the pharmaceutical field. Conducted weekly every Wednesday, the program ran from 26th June 2024 to 31st July 2024, featuring six sessions led by esteemed Faculty members. This program was specifically designed for the B. Pharm New Entrants to give them an insight of Pharmacy education.

The details of the six sessions conducted online are:

1. Exploring the Dynamics of the Pharmaceutical Industry: From Theory to Practice

Taken by Mr. Vivek Dhiyani, Associate Professor and Head-CRC

This session delved into the fundamental dynamics of the pharmaceutical industry, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. Mr. Dhiyani provided a comprehensive overview of industry operations, emphasizing the importance of aligning academic learning with industry practices.

2. Exploring Pharmaceutical Opportunities Overseas: Charting Your Career Path

Taken by Dr. Anjana Sharma, Professor

Dr. Sharma's session focused on global career opportunities in the pharmaceutical sector, highlighting the pathways for aspiring professionals to establish themselves internationally. She provided valuable insights into navigating career prospects overseas, including necessary qualifications and potential challenges.

3. Emerging Infectious Diseases and the Role of Vaccines in Global Health Security

Taken by Mr. Harshit Kanchav, Assistant Professor

6. Pharmaceuticals in Your Home: Discovering Everyday Medicine Essentials

Taken by Mr. Pankaj Bhatt, Associate Professor

Mr. Bhatt explored the pharmaceutical products commonly found in households, providing insights into their uses, safety, and importance. He emphasized the role of everyday medicines in maintaining health and managing minor ailments effectively.

The Lloyd Pathway Program provided participants with important knowledge and practical insights into different aspects of the pharmacy. It helped them understand the field better and prepared them for future career opportunities.
