The workshop was organized by Makeintern and IIT Kharagpur, from February 8th to 10th at Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology (Pharmacy) College, Knowledge Park-2. The event was attended by faculty, students, and experts from various institutes, with over 60 students participating from different colleges in Delhi and NCR.

During the workshop, renowned professionals from the pharmaceutical industry and regulatory agencies shared insights into different aspects of the pharma industry. The workshop comprised four sessions each day, generating significant interest and engagement among the students. Dr. Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director of Lloyd Group, inaugurated the program and emphasized the importance of continuous learning in fields such as Clinical Data Management, Analytics, Pharmaceutical Quality Control, and Assurance. Dr. Sethi encouraged students to focus not only on their curriculum but also on gaining practical industry experience through internships and training. ." She encouraged the students to acquire continuous knowledge in these subjects and asked them to pay attention to industrial training along with the curriculum. There are a huge number of jobs as well as opportunities for new startups and entrepreneurship in the pharma sector.

Dr. Anupama, another expert present at the workshop, provided a comprehensive overview of pharmaceutical quality control and assurance, discussing research fundamentals, testing processes, and potential career opportunities. Students were encouraged to explore new methodologies and exciting careers in these emerging fields.

The workshop covered various topics, including documentation, self-inspection, quality audit accreditation, market complaints, national testing and calibration laboratory accreditation, and Six Sigma. The experts emphasized the importance of mastering Total Quality Management and the costing of Quality. Throughout the workshop, participants actively engaged in discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions.

 At the end of the three-day event, five winners were selected, and further and they got the opportunity to go to IIT Kharagpur to participate in the final round competition.
