To bridge the gap between academic learning and industrial practices, Lloyd Institute of Management and Technology, Greater Noida organized a Virtual Industrial Training session titled “Insights in ACG’s Oral Dosage Technology” on 29th May 2025, in collaboration with ACG—an industry leader in pharmaceutical manufacturing in oral dosage solutions.

The session aimed to expose students to real-time industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in oral dosage manufacturing, thereby enhancing their understanding and employability in the pharmaceutical sector. The key objectives were

  • To provide an overview of ACG Group and its global impact in pharmaceutical technology.
  • To introduce students to the processes and equipment involved in capsule and tablet manufacturing.
  • To explore innovations in hard capsules, packaging solutions, track & trace technologies, and Industry 4.0 applications.
  • To emphasize the importance of GMP, hygiene, and gowning practices in pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.

The sessions witnessed enthusiastic participation from B.Pharm and M.Pharm students of Lloyd Institute and faculty members. Out of 135 registered delegates 81 completed .To ensure team learning students were gathered in the forum room equipped with screening facility and one single login was used. The day long sessions concluded at 5 pm with 45 minutes lunch break in between. 

The session began with welcome address by Mr Ketan Parmar from ACG Chairman’s office followed by insightful sessions from various speakers, carefully aligned to create a thoughtful flow and supplemented with ample video demonstrations.

The sessions were followed by a quiz on Kuhoot for the students from the days learning. The winner of the quiz , Mohd. Shabahat Khan was awarded with a prize. The Training concluded with a vote of thanks by, Dr. Chitra Gupta ,Professor & Dean PG, Lloyd Institute.

Overall the program was a success whereby students not only gained deep insights into the end-to-end lifecycle of capsule manufacturing but  exposure to cutting-edge technologies such as Track & Trace and IIoT ,highlighting the increasing role of digital tools in pharma. The sessions emphasized regulatory compliance through GMP and hygiene training. The training served as a valuable industry-academia interface, sparking interest in pharmaceutical careers.

The students were required to submit an online feedback of the event through google forms (https://forms.gle/M2knpnzHpiJPktE69) and an Industrial training report of the same within next 10days.

 In conclusion, the virtual industrial training proved to be a highly enriching experience for the students and faculty alike.
