Lloyd Institute of Management & Technology (Pharm.), Greater Noida successfully organized a two-day Health Hackathon, “Health-A-Thon 2.0: Future Prospective for a Healthier World,” on 21st & 22nd March 2025.
The event focused on the theme "AI-Driven Solutions for Early Disease Detection, Precision Treatment, and Smart Medication Delivery." Over 20+ innovator teams from esteemed institutions such as DPSRU, Amity University, Galgotias University, KIET, ABES Engineering College, Sunderdeep College of Pharmacy, and LIMT participated, staying overnight on campus to develop and refine their innovations.
Day 1: Inauguration & Initial Pitching
The program commenced at 10:00 AM with an inaugural session, presided over by Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Arora Sethi, Group Director, Chief Strategy Officer & Head of Growth at Lloyd Group of Institutions. The session was graced by eminent guests:
- Er. Sanjeev Gupta, Founder President, Anusandhan Chamber of Commerce; Vice Chairman, MSME Chamber of Commerce; and Gem of Mentor, NITI Ayog
- Dr. Tanveer Naved, Deputy Dean, Faculty of Health and Allied Sciences, Amity University, Noida
The event began with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony to invoke the blessings of the Goddess of Learning.
In her welcome address, Prof. (Dr.) Vandana Arora Sethi highlighted the transformative role of technology in healthcare, emphasizing that AI, blockchain, and augmented reality are revolutionizing medical accessibility and ease of use. She stressed that Health-Tech Hackathons play a crucial role in shaping young minds toward technological advancements in healthcare.

At 12:05 PM, the pitching sessions commenced, where each innovator team presented their ideas within a 5-minute timeframe. The jury provided valuable insights, which participants noted to refine their projects.
Dr. Syed Salman Ali, Event Coordinator and Associate Professor, LIMT, delivered the concluding address for Day 1, after which the hacking session was declared open for the night. Participants utilized computer labs and dedicated spaces to integrate the jury’s feedback into their projects.
Day 2: Prototype Presentations & Valedictory Session
The second day (22nd March 2025) began with the welcome of the jury panelists:

- Dr. Utkarsh Sood, Executive Officer, Udhmodya Foundation; Assistant Professor, University of Delhi
This phase of the event focused on detailed prototype presentations, where teams were evaluated on feasibility, novelty, innovation, patentability, and business potential.
The Valedictory Session commenced at 3:00 PM, with Mr. Sachin Sharma, Incubation Manager, UP Institute of Design, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, as the Guest of Eminence.
