“Heads Up to Your Pharmacy Career – Webinar 3” was organized on 19th June on the topic “Introduction to the field of Clinical Research for Pharmacy students” The Speaker Ms. Jaspreet Kaur, Deputy GM, Mankind Pharma Ltd. spoke about increasing demand, scope and importance of Pharma Profession.

Ms. Jaspreet Kaur initially talked about the introduction part of clinical research. She explained her career journey and how she made to his current position. She talked about clinical research field, History of Development of Human Research Protections, Good Clinical Practice, Phases of experimental studies. She says everyday new challenges come in the field of clinical research and we should upgrade our skills to keep us ahead. She also talked about careers in clinical studies & skill set required. Besides formal education and skills, one should be open to various industries and stay updated what is latest trend in an industry and what is newest culture in industry. She appreciate the initiatives Lloyd is taking for their students to become industry ready.
