Hands on Training LigandScout 4.4 Expert

A One Day Hands on Training Session on “LigandScout 4.4 Expert (A Computational Software)” was organized at the Institute under the flagship of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) on 21^st September, 2022. The workshop/training session was attended by Faculty members, PG scholars and the Lab staffs.  The resource person was Mr.  Charitra Gour. Manager Technical Consulting from Scube Scientific Software Consulting Private Limited.

The day long training commenced with theoretical presentation session covering: Introduction of LigandScout Software, Modules of LigandScout Software followed by Software Training on Creating a pharmacophore from a single protein ligand complex, virtual screening and comparing active/inactive hit retrieval rates, analyzing molecular dynamics trajectories with LigandScout.

In all, 20 faculty members, 15 students and 5 lab staffs benefitted from the session and were awarded certificates for the same. The feedbacks shred by participants as follow: "The workshop was extremely good. The presentation clarified the basic concepts of LigandScout Software. The Hands-on training session was quite good and offered practical experience on the software."
