Objective of the Lecture: The guest lecture aimed to promote health awareness among pharmacy students by enhancing their understanding of the pharmacovigilance program for ASU&H medicines.
Speaker Profile: Dr. Pankaj Gupta is an esteemed professional serving as the Assistant Director at the Department of DDPRCRIH under the Ministry of AYUSH. With extensive expertise in traditional medicine and pharmacovigilance, Dr. Gupta has been instrumental in promoting the safety and efficacy of ASU&H practices across India.
The session provided insights into the safe and effective use of traditional medicinal systems and the importance of monitoring adverse drug reactions (ADRs) to ensure public health safety. Dr. Gupta successfully enhanced students' awareness of the critical role of pharmacovigilance in ensuring the safety of ASU&H medicines.
