Lloyd organized a delightful Diwali for the students on 08 November 2023. The main Motive of this event was to encourage students to take part in the co-curricular activities as well as to celebrate the festival with a sense of togetherness and cultural aspect. The event opened with the colorful rangoli and Diya making competition where students showcase their talent with the splash of colors. There were various food, games and fun stalls for everyone to enjoy and have fun. The students were awarded for the best decoration of stalls and highest revenue generation. The event was followed by Tug-of-war between Pharmacy students. Pharmacy girl’s team bagged the trophies. The celebration was summed up by students with the enthralling Nukkad natak which was enjoyed by the audience and students. The Diwali Celebrations-2023 was successful as the students showed interest to participate in it and also presented with a keen interest in each of the events conducted. The number of students participating from the Pre-final and Final years was impressive. Many students took the first step in participating in an event through the Diwali celebrations and came out of their comfort zones. This also allowed them to show their creativity as well as get a break from their daily schedules. The events were conducted as planned and a very minimal delay was caused in the duration of the event. Discipline was also well maintained with the help of faculty members and Judges present at the events. Students enjoyed their day and learned along with fun as they dressed up in colorful ethnic wear to celebrate the festival of light. The Diwali celebration was a huge success and encouraged students to exhibit their best and celebrate grand.
