Introduction:
A campus recruitment drive was organized for pharmacy students by Chirok Health for Medical Coding at Lloyd Institute of Management & Technology, Greater Noida. The drive aimed to provide employment opportunities to final-year pharmacy students and connect them with one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in India. Cipla is known for its global presence and a wide portfolio of pharmaceutical products across various therapeutic categories.
The campus interview was conducted on 19th February 2026 with the participation of final-year B. Pharm students. The drive was coordinated by the Training & Placement Cell of the institute.
Objectives of the Campus Drive
The primary objectives of organizing the campus recruitment drive were:
- To provide career opportunities to final-year pharmacy students.
- To facilitate interaction between students and pharmaceutical industry professionals.
- To allow students to showcase their technical knowledge, communication skills, and professional aptitude.
- To strengthen industry–institute collaboration.
Pre-Placement Talk
The recruitment process began with a Pre-Placement Talk (PPT) delivered by the representatives of Chirok Health. During this session, the company officials introduced students to:
- The vision and values of Chirok Health
- The company’s global presence and medical coding outreach
- Job roles and career growth opportunities for pharmacy graduates
- Expectations from candidates in terms of technical knowledge and professional skills
Students were also informed about the job profile, work environment, and selection process.
Selection Process
The campus recruitment process consisted of multiple stages designed to evaluate students on different competencies. The stages included:
1. Aptitude / Screening Test
Students were evaluated on
basic pharmaceutical knowledge, coding skills, and problem-solving ability.
2. Technical Interview
The technical round focused on
core pharmacy subjects, pharmacology concepts, and understanding of medical
coding and documentation.
3. HR Interview
In the final round, the HR panel
assessed candidates’ personality traits, career goals, communication
skills, and overall suitability for the organization.
Such multi-stage selection processes are commonly used in pharmaceutical recruitment drives to assess both technical and professional competencies.
Student Participation
A significant number of final-year pharmacy students participated in the campus drive. The students displayed enthusiasm and professionalism throughout the recruitment process. Many candidates successfully cleared the initial screening rounds and advanced to the final interviews.
